History & Milestones
Gondwana Engineers was founded in 1982 and has grown through two service expansions and its move into the Doshion Group, while continuing to design, build, and operate water and sewage treatment infrastructure across India.
1982
Gondwana Engineers established as a Private Limited firm with a focus on water-system construction for state and municipal clients.
1992
Expanded from water supply into sewage treatment plant design and construction, opening the second leg of the business.
1998
Broadened scope to end-to-end municipal water supply networks: source works, rising mains, reservoirs, and last-mile distribution.
2013
Acquired by the Doshion Group, an Indian water and environmental solutions company, to scale delivery capacity and reach national water and sewage infrastructure programmes.
2022
Secured the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) design-build-operate contract to rejuvenate the Poisar River with decentralised MBR sewage treatment plants, an interceptor sewer network, and 15 years of operation and maintenance.
2023
Commissioned a 100 MLD water treatment plant for the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation at Chikhli, Pune, with ten years of operation and maintenance.
2026
Today building water and sewage infrastructure across 17+ states, with 150+ water treatment plants and 25+ sewage treatment plants delivered.
